Ecotec is an engineering company founded in 1998 with the objective
of designing and producing hydraulic components, above all pumps and motors.
With thirty years’ experience in the field Ecotec has expert and up-to-date
knowledge of the specific and ever evolving technologies, materials and processes
used in this field.
More importantly, it has an in-depth knowledge of the market gained in over 25
years of international contacts, developing applications in a wide variety of
sectors, with marketing activities carried out mainly for one important company
in this field, of which Ecotec is a partner.
In-depth analysis of the requirements of the applications and the need for the
components to be ever more compact whilst at the same time increasingly efficient,
has pushed the search for engineering solutions in directions which have been
traditionally been considered impracticable, but which, with the use of advanced
technologies already in use in other sectors, allow these objectives to be reached.
Ecotec has recently produced a new design of pump-motor whose efficiency is high
enough to be successfully employed in a “FLUID IVT” transmission, a goal which
has been sought after for many decades by major car manufacturers and other
manufacturers in the automotive industry.
